I Booked 120 Handles by Mid-Morning Friday. Then I Ordered a Coffee.

Hey trader,

Friday morning, I shorted the 77 on three micro NQ contracts, watched price sweep through the 56, and sold the 46 looking for a 30-handle move down to cash.

The trade hit. Plus 30 on three micros.

"Let's just book it. It's Friday. Let's get on the board."

Then I ordered a coffee from Lisa, my barista at the house, while the rest of the room was still hunting for their first entry. She was ignoring me for a minute.

I told the room we should all be so lucky.

That trade brought me to 120 handles on the week. I sat back and told the room to sit tight.

The morning econ data was coming, VIX was sitting at 19, and the NQ had just rallied 6% without a pullback into a Friday. There was no reason to press.

"I don't expect much today, you guys."

The biggest lesson from this week came down to one thing: Knowing when your week is made and having the discipline to protect it.

This week, I booked 120 handles using the same levels and the same process I have been trading for nearly 10 years.

Every entry, every stop, and every target was mapped before the open. The 77 short that paid on Friday was auto-plotted on my chart before I even had coffee.
